Supporting the community
Inner North Community Foundation
To address barriers to employment facing many marginalised groups in Melbourne’s inner north, IntoWork, supported by its three member councils—Moreland, Darebin and Yarra—established the Inner North Community Foundation in 2007 and has been a major partner since that time.
The foundation funds community projects that assist disadvantaged people to find their way into work.
The foundation has distributed more than $1 million to different community projects, assisting more than 1000 people. These projects have helped equip local people with the skills and experience they need to break down barriers to employment and find work.
All donations to the foundation are invested in perpetuity and income earned each year is distributed to local organisations. Visit Inner North Community Foundation or call 8689 1967 for more information about supporting the Inner North Community Foundation or applying for a grant.
