A Coorong-based training program is helping young Ngarrindjeri man Tyerone Denew reconnect with culture, build confidence and re-engage with school.

The high school student now spends one day a week working on Country with the Ngarrindjeri Lands and Progress Association (NLPA), where he is learning practical skills while strengthening ties to his community.
