Vocational Education and Training

The IntoWork Group has seven businesses that deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs.

VET focuses on providing people with practical skills and knowledge required for specific industries or occupations and helps them gain the necessary competencies to enter the workforce or enhance their existing skills in a particular field.

Our VET programs offer a wide range of courses and qualifications that are directly aligned with industry needs.

These programs, delivered by our Registered Training Organisations (RTO), can include:

  • Apprenticeships and Traineeships
  • Certificates
  • Diplomas
  • Advanced diplomas

The benefits of VET:

  • Hands-on learning to develop practical skills and industry-relevant training.
  • Courses are designed in collaboration with industry experts and employers to make sure that the skills and knowledge taught are up-to-date and aligned with industry requirements.
  • Employers value VET qualifications as they demonstrate practical skills and readiness for the workplace.
  • Experience on-the-job training with work placements that often result in direct employment opportunities.
  • Flexible course options enable a balance of studies with other work commitments. This includes full-time, part-time, online or blended learning options.

VET delivered in Secondary Schools (VETiS/VDSS):

VETiS programs offered by our Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) allow students in Years 10, 11, or 12 to combine their education with industry-specific skill development, providing a pathway to apprenticeships. By earning a Nationally Recognised Certificate II qualification, students gain a competitive edge in seamlessly transitioning into apprenticeships after completing year 11 or 12.

Vocational Education and Training plays a crucial role in preparing individuals for the workforce, providing them with practical skills, industry knowledge, and recognised qualifications that enhance their employability and career prospects.
