What that means to us:

Unlocking our potential lies with us uniting and working as one connected team to achieve our purpose. Connected by this shared purpose, each of us see where we fit in and understand how our businesses connect. We look out from our teams and share information to benefit others across businesses in doing their work. We inspire and are inspired by how the team works together to achieve our purpose by building and maintaining internal and external relationships. We work to put in place business-wide practices to co-ordinate our efforts to avoid unnecessary duplication and work to create alignment and shared understanding of how our work is connected. People’s ideas, opinions and experiences are all around us. Working as one connected team, we’re open to, and seek out the different views, approaches and expertise of others to deliver better outcomes and improve what we do. We identify when we need to collaborate within and across teams and seek input before acting. We put our customers’ “great experience” at the heart of everything we do and the interactions we have with each other.

What that means to us:

Living by this value requires us to be accountable. We take responsibility for how we behave, what we do and don’t do, the decisions we make and the impact we have on others. We’re clear on what’s required in our roles, who we need to work with and what we need to deliver. To meet our commitments internally and externally, we actively seek to understand the expectations of ourselves, our colleagues and customers. We talk to each other about what we’re accountable for and are open to giving and receiving feedback. We’re transparent about our performance, when it’s on track and when it’s not, and we speak up early when we need help. When we make mistakes or don’t deliver, we acknowledge, accept accountability and learn from the experience. We’re empowered to challenge the status quo, speak honestly and freely and share our views. We embrace and accept change.  We’re shaping a culture where we won’t shy away from what we’re responsible for delivering – “The standard you walk past is the standard you accept”. We take pride in being courageous and proactive and celebrate this in ourselves and others.

At the heart of this value is learning; learning from one another and learning from what’s happening externally. This value requires us to seek out and truly hear the voices of our colleagues and customers. We can’t become complacent; we must continue to actively listen to what our customers need, not what we think they need. Our focus is on providing customers with innovative products and solutions — being the provider and employer of choice in delivering integrated workforce solutions for employers that enable pathways into participation for individuals. We’re not about innovation for innovation’s sake. We’re looking to continually improve what we do to make it better, to add value, to increase efficiency, to enhance our reputation and improve our working environment.  We have an eye on the future, leading the way in finding opportunities and delivering solutions. Innovation doesn’t mean we improve and innovate on our own, we bring others with us — leading and supporting them to embrace and navigate change. We know that having the trust of our customers, stakeholders, communities, and each other is central to our success and is the foundation of a strong business, reputation and culture. How we interact with our customers, our communities and each other matters. We take care and pay attention to detail in all our actions. Before we act, we think about the potential consequences and the impact on others, always looking to make decisions and take actions that are ethically, morally, and legally right. Our customers, the community and our colleagues will judge us according to whether we’re delivering what we’ve promised. So being our authentic selves and striving to have everybody’s best interests supported, is critically important.
