The IntoWork Group announced a significant national expansion of its Inclusive Employment Australia program, delivered through its leading disability support businesses, Help Enterprises (Help) and Interact Australia.
Help and Interact Australia were selected by the Australian Government’s Department of Social Services to deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia program, which commenced 1 November 2025, replacing the Disability Employment Services program.
This landmark initiative, which sees the Group’s services extend across 12 Employment Services Areas in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia, is highlighted by the official opening of Help’s new Hurstville, New South Wales office by the Hon Tanya Plibersek MP, Minister of Social Services Australia, on December 2.
By expanding services into new regions, IntoWork Group is further empowering people with disability to learn, grow, and succeed in communities across Australia, “Through Help and Interact Australia, we are now supporting people with disability across 12 Employment Services Areas in five states,” said Poul Bottern, CEO of IntoWork Group.
“This national expansion is about more than new locations – it’s about connection, trust, and creating opportunities so more people with disability can achieve their employment goals with the support they need from our expert teams. We acknowledge the dedication of our staff, participants, and the communities we serve; their commitment to creating inclusive employment opportunities is at the heart of our success.”
“Our participants are truly at the heart of everything we do,” added Steve Wyborn, CEO of Help. “We are dedicated to listening to their goals, understanding their unique abilities, and working alongside them to build tailored pathways to employment success. This grand opening in Hurstville is particularly meaningful, taking place on the eve of International Day for People with Disability, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to inclusion.”
Under the new contract, the IntoWork Group, through Help and Interact Australia, will deliver the Inclusive Employment Australia program across these Employment Services Areas:
Additionally, Interact Australia (in partnership with Mas National) will also deliver the National Panel of Assessors (NPA) program in various regions, further strengthening support for people with disability.
Participants in these areas will receive comprehensive, personalised support to prepare for work, build skills and confidence, create or update resumes, apply for jobs, and connect with employers. Crucially, ongoing support will also be provided to maintain employment, including workplace modifications and mental health and wellness support. This collaborative Group approach ensures individuals are supported to find careers together with them, rather than just for them.
Jamie Barden, CEO of Interact Australia, added, “Our team at Interact Australia has worked tirelessly to bring this expansion to fruition. As we continue to grow our services, we are committed to fostering a community that values inclusivity and diversity and collaborating with like-minded organisations to build a vibrant future for people with disability.”
