Skill Hire strengthens South West commitment with new Bunbury office

Skill Hire will open a new office in the Bunbury CBD, strengthening support for local employers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers across the South West while building on its longstanding presence in the region.

The office complements Skill Hire’s existing South West training operations in Davenport, where it delivers nationally recognised training alongside sister company Nara Training & Assessing.

Located at 73 Victoria Street, within Bunbury’s Old Lyric Theatre, the office will make it easier for local businesses and community members to connect with Skill Hire’s team and access employment, training and workforce support services.

Bunbury training and employment stalwart, and current Skill Hire Chair Stan Liaros said the new office would build on the organisation’s deep connection with the South West.

“Skill Hire has been part of the South West community for many years through our training operations, partnerships and relationships with local employers. This new office reinforces that commitment and creates an accessible front door for businesses, apprentices, trainees and job seekers looking for support close to home,” Mr Liaros said.

“The South West continues to play an important role in Western Australia’s economy and workforce, and we’re proud to invest in a stronger local presence that will help connect more people with meaningful employment, training and career opportunities.”

As a key regional hub for industry, employment and education, Bunbury is ideally placed for Skill Hire to expand its local presence. The new office will support employers seeking skilled workers, individuals looking to start or progress their careers, and apprentices and trainees pursuing pathways across a range of industries.

By establishing a central location in Bunbury, Skill Hire will be better placed to deliver workforce solutions tailored to the needs of local industries.

The office will open in mid-October.
